3.1 Application of Harmonized Standards and Technical Specifications

(EN) 301 549, titled "Accessibility requirements for ICT products and services," is a European standard for digital accessibility.


partially with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version: 2.1. It meets level A.


The WCAG are an international standard for accessibility guidelines, developed and maintained by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the body responsible for standardizing web technologies. The goal of these guidelines is to create structures for digital offerings that enable access and use for all persons in terms of digital accessibility.

The following points have already been fully implemented:


  • Sufficient color contrast in texts and user interface elements
  • Use of simple, easy-to-understand language (e.g. in explanations and forms)

The following points are still in progress:

  • Compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers or voice control

  • Perceivability and comprehensibility of mandatory information through multiple sensory channels
  • Accessible alternatives for non-text content (e.g. icons, graphics)
